Alberta's Top Indie Showcase (MAP) Alberta's Own Independent Music festival 7 2 Day outdoor Camping Festival. July 11 & 12, 2008 Bring out your tents, R.V's and BBQ's and prepare for the time of your life! Alberta 's Top Indie Showcase is located at the Benalto Rodeo and Fair Grounds, 10 minutes west of Sylvan Lake , approximately 1/2 hour from Red Deer. 40 of Alberta's Top Indie Bands will be on location ranging from Hard Rock, Rock, Punk, Funk, Country, Folk, Blues, Jazz, Christian… No matter what kind of music you like, there is certainly plenty here for you to enjoy,” Continuous music will pump from two stages, and the Beer garden (no Minors Allowed) will keep the summer heat in check. As well as numerous camping sites there will be plenty of Restrooms. Many other conveniences like Venders and an ATM will be set up. See the Band page for complete line-up and times. The bands will be battling to play in their desired time slot at the festival. The Battle will run from March 15th to June 15th. Support your favorite band by going to the ticket page and buying your ticket on line. Be sure to type in the name of your favorite band in the note field. We will be posting the results daily on the Bands page so you can see their progress NO GLASS PLEASE!! No one likes cut feet. Cans and plastic are more than welcome. NO DOGS, No Drunk Driving, ATV's, fires or fire works, will be permitted. BBQ's welcome. It will be a GREAT WEEKEND TO PARTY with some excellent music, and great friends, So drink responsibly.
