About Ambln Acres:
Ambln Acres is owned and operated by Robert and Cheryl Bouvier. It is a breeding facility, located in Clive, Alberta, Canada. Presently we have a herd of 35 horses. Most of these are products of our breeding program which is designed to produce a natural intermediate gaited horses. We expect a total of 12 foals for the 2006 season. Our horses are raised as close to natural conditions as possible and are not started under saddle until they are at least 4 yrs. old, which gives them plenty of time to develop. The pasture includes a creek, which the heard swims to cross, we have seen foals as young as a day old swimming across with their mothers. The breeding program began in 1992, Using top blood lines of TWH (Tennessee Walkers & Rocky Mountain Horses). In 2002, we introduced Virginia Single footing blood from Rowdy Rawhide. We focus on producing versatility and trail horses that are easy to work with, durable, athletic and smooth in gait at all speeds. They are: "GOOD TO LOOK AT, STURDY ENOUGH TO PUT TO WORK AND FAST ENOUGH TO MAKE A TROTTING HORSE CANTER!
